I am the Night Watcher

Our horizon sinks and pinhole lights
of stars begin to gleam
languidly i stand waiting for the moon
I smile a fragile smile and think
now this must be my time
A perfect balance between worlds
between lightness and the darkness.

the hour of choice...

 Al Gore-
One thin September soon
A floating continent disappears
In midnight sun
Vapors rise as
Fever settles on an acid sea
Neptune's bones dissolve
Snow glides from the mountain
Ice fathers floods for a season
A hard rain comes quickly
Then dirt is parched
Kindling is placed in the forest
For the lightning's celebration
Unknown creatures
Take their leave, unmourned
Horsemen ready their stirrups
Passion seeks heroes and friends
The bell of the city
On the hill is rung
The shepherd cries
The hour of choosing has arrived

What my soul intends

a whisper from the wind its never to far,
its never to late to blend in with nature,
the serene colors awaits your deep existence,
the mountain whispered on the edge of forever....

the endless linings of withered trees,
the chilling sounds of autumn breeze,
the resounding birds from down below,
so limitless and free with awing joy,
oh i embrace you at the birth of dawn,
what beauty you posses yet to spawn,
i am just a creature bound to the ground,
but on this  mountain i feel a sacred bond.

i want to be far in the mountain wilderness,
and i will travel far as my soul intends,
i want to be in the depths of the darkest forest,
where the sun will slip a warmth of light on my shadowy face.

My Sacred Mirror

how deep is my mirror, the mystery it holds,
bestowing all truth i hold inside...
the beams of truth to shine on Earth at night,
my worthy mirror hangs on a wall out of sight...

beckoning for the reflection of an autumn tree,
deep in a forest it hangs from the wide blue sky...
reflecting the setting sun on a faceless soul,
my secret mirror reveals lifes colors on natures soul...

upon reflecting a gentle storm, from which water will flow,
cleansing my soul to be renewed...
life will spring again from the murky ground,
my sacred mirror is reborn on the walls of the unknown...

within the sacred mirror is where my life resides,
it holds the truth and all the love i hold inside...
like natures way it holds lifes colors, all joy and woe,
my sacred mirror reveals life and death....
and all the mysteries from which i must grow.

The change of season...autumn.

We sit beside the autumn river
    in which the sunlight shimmers...
I embrace the most beautiful one of all
she shares with me a fair smile...
We surrender our thoughts as we sit
and adore the most beautiful scene...
The autumn wind brings shivering
    colors of a comely scene...

Silent echo of the northern wind...
Summer insects from which they run...
Glistening leaves on the tips of tree...
Flowers swaying in a chilling breeze...
Which brings the change of season,
to our eyes with a lofty ease.

Awakening Voice

so alone i lay in a bed of grey clouds,
in a dreamy room of forgotten sounds...
i lay my head on the pillow of dreams,
waiting and waiting for the sounds of sparkling streams.

so afraid what does this night intend,
so truly deep, i cannot feel or see the end...
i remember drifting deeper, and deeper into this safe place,
into this new dimension oh forgive me now my eternal vise.

the luxuriant transition is pure, lurid, and deep,
filled with silence and unclouded scenes of thought...
surrounded by a brilliant moonlight,
i only imagine a silver moon floating on a starry night...

it is 3 a.m., life has embraced complete nothingness,
and the ghostly moon has appeared at the end of night...
oh is it a dream beneath my skin begging for escape, who is it i hear
an awakening voice calling my name, again, and again, so far but yet so near...

...the room is empty, the house is empty, the world is empty,
yet  the voice is heard with no one there.

Life

Life...

rare,

precious,

mysterious,

constant motion only silence, silenced.....by death.
